Q.           Is it true that the Institution is newly founded and under construction?
A.            Yes; Ondo State University of Science & Technology is truly a newly founded institution established by the state government. The bill establishing the University was signed into law on the 27th December, 2007 by the Ondo State Government.

Q.            When will full academic activities commence at the University?
A.            Academic activities in the institution are expected to take off fully during the 2009/2010 academic session.

Q.           Is Ondo State University of Science and Technology recognised?
A.            OSUSTECH is recorgnised as the 32nd State University and the 93rd University in Nigeria by the National Universities Commission (NUC).

Q.            How do I qualify for admission into the University?
A.            Prospective applicants must possess at least five credit passes at one sitting in the WASC, GCE or NECO examinations including Mathematics and English language and three other subjects relevant to the course of study. Candidates must also seat for and obtain a minimum score of 200 at the JAMB examinations

Q             What is the duration of the programmes in the University? 
A.            All programmes in the University are of 5-year duration leading to the award of Bachelor of a Bachelor’s degree.

Q.            Is OSUSTECH fully residential?
A.             The University is not fully residential but hostel accommodations are available for majority of students on campus.
