We have been meeting the NUC's standards and requirements. He disclosed that the seven programmes assessed so far by the NUC Accreditation panels at various dates included Industrial Chemistry, Physics, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, Fisheries and Mathematics. Those of Microbiology and Geophysics would have been assessed by mid November, 2018, he stated. Igbasan commended the Ondo State Government for releasing funds for the accreditation exercise. "Though, the fund may not be enough, but it has assisted us to be able to acquire laboratory equipment and furniture for offices, as well as taken care of parts of NUC's accreditation demands," he remarked. He equally commended the Vice- Chancellor, Prof. Sunday Roberts Ogunduyile for being very supportive and motivating.
